A new maritime voice for Asia
Seatrade is pleased to announce the launch of a new publication designed to fill a long-overdue gap in the market and recognise Asia’s emerging role as centre of the maritime world.
Seatrade Asia Week is the first pan-Asian weekly news vehicle launched by major international publisher Seatrade. Distributed in electronic format, it will include breaking stories on shipping, offshore and energy-related markets. All of the region’s major shipping nations will be covered, including China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, South East Asia and the Indian subcontinent.
The weekly is to be published out of Seatrade’s Singapore office and will be compiled by a team of uniquely experienced Asia-based journalists. These include Marcus Hand, Sam Chambers, Jacintha Stephens, Katherine Si, Shirish Nadkarni and Namrata Nadkarni, as well as international contributions from Seatrade magazine editor Bob Jaques and correspondents worldwide.
The publication will feature regular interviews with foremost maritime figures in Asia, as well as ‘think pieces’ and other industry submissions. Leading brokers, bankers, lawyers, and insurers will also be invited to contribute their analysis of Asian maritime news and markets.
